?Hi there. My name is Wesley or Wes for short. I realize I don't look all that great in my mug shot there but that's not the Rescue Squad's fault. I was found roaming close to city highway traffic when I was brought to doggie prison. The fine folks at Yorkie911 took me in from a place where Euthansia was just 'round the bend. I came to them wrapped in a towel looking as though I was convulsing because of my awful cough. I stunk terribly from both my rotting teeth and lack of a recent shower. Saying I was a mess is an understatement! That didn't stop the Volunteers from loving me though. Before I knew it, I was bathed and the disgusting filth on my body was washed away. I was given a doggie massage while I was blown dry and I started to look better. The next stop was the dogter. Found out that I am completely blind in one eye and have partially blind / blurred vision in the other. I have a terrible cough and rotten teeth so I need a dental once I am healthier. I got medicine that was supposed to help me feel better but I insisted on not eating. My throat feels swollen from the kennel cough gone wrong. The dogter took an X-Ray of my chest and started a Nebulizer treatment. They are trying to make me better and everyone is rooting for me. I just feel so bad the folks at Yorkie911 Rescue are spending so much money to help me when they could be using this money on younger dogs with a whole life ahead of them! I am so grateful for what they have been doing for me that I want to show I appreciate their dedication to the breed.
